My husband and I had breakfast here today for the first time after hearing positive reviews about the restaurant from Next Door - Mountain's Edge. We were happy with our experience.
Michelle was our server and very polite. We ordered a 6 oz. ribeye and chicken fried steak with sunny side up eggs and bacon. Everything was good and very filling. Coffee was refilled pretty quickly. We will likely return in the future. -

Finding this jewel was such an amazing discovery!!!
This is a must for everyone to visit!!! A little off the beaten path but well worth the trip!
Delicious food and excellent service!!!
Exactly what were looking for.
Puts Cracker Barrel to shame. -

We always pass this place, and finally stopped in for dinner. The decor is very country, cozy even. Like going to grandmas house. There are random things hanging on the wall, pictures to look at, it's super cute!
Around the table we had the chicken fried steak sandwich, BLT club, country nachos and fried chicken. If you love gravy, this is the place for you. Everything has yummy gravy! The nachos, GRAVY. I never knew chips and gravy would be a hit. The fried chicken had hints of honey, just enough sweetness to warm your belly.
All the yummy food, but only 3 stars you ask?? The service was very slow. We were 1 of 3 other families in the restaurant. I'm not sure how long the other 2 families were seated before we arrived, but their food wasn't even on the table yet. I looked at my watch a few times before our food came out - about 30 mins had passed. Also, our waitress only came out once to refill our water cups. Waiting for the check was interesting, since our waitress hadn't been out in a while. My husband ended up walking to the kitchen door to pay. Maybe this is normal? I'm not sure. -

Moved into the area and was referred here by some friends who said it had good food! My girlfriend had a standard breakfast and thought the pancakes were really good and fluffy. I had the chicken fried steak, which is kind of the go to for any place with "country" in the title for me. Good gravy, tasty steak. We'll definitely make our way back. We thought it was cute that they had unique mugs for coffee and not just standard mugs. Pretty cool!

I came here for lunch, cute little place, it was dead inside not a single table. Upon entry I got seated right away, asked if they had lunch specials but that was a negative. I wanted the turkey entree but I was told that it wasn't ready till 5pm, another disappointment. So I decided to get the chicken fried steak, huge mistake. First off the whole plate was just bland, gravy had no flavor and the steak tasted rubbery and weird. The breading didn't look good either. Mashed potatoes did not taste legit. Green beans looked canned. The service was good tho, Jason was really attentive. I'll be back for the turkey plate one of these days.
